We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of ESG to lead our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy at Chanelle Pharma, a global leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The Head of ESG will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our company upholds the highest standards of sustainability and corporate responsibility across our operations, products, and relationships with stakeholders. This senior leadership role requires an individual with a strong track record in driving ESG initiatives, particularly in the context of the pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors, with an ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee the execution of the company’s ESG strategy, aligned with our business objectives and corporate values. Ensure that ESG initiatives are integrated into the company’s overall strategy and operations
- Environmental Impact: Lead efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of our manufacturing processes, including resource efficiency, waste management, energy consumption, carbon emissions, and sustainable supply chain practices
- Social Responsibility: Drive programs related to employee health and safety, community engagement, diversity and inclusion, and patient access to medicines. Promote ethical conduct and human rights within the supply chain and broader business activities
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local and international regulations and standards related to ESG. Oversee reporting and compliance with regulatory frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD, as well as stakeholder communication, including annual ESG reports and disclosures
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with investors, regulatory bodies, NGOs, industry groups, and other stakeholders to promote transparency and demonstrate leadership in ESG. Represent the company at key ESG-related events and forums
- ESG Reporting and Metrics: Establish clear ESG metrics and reporting frameworks to track performance, drive continuous improvement, and report to senior leadership and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, and regulatory bodies
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate ESG-related risks, including climate change, regulatory changes, and reputational risks, ensuring the company maintains a proactive, responsive approach to emerging trends
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Legal, Operations, R&D, Marketing, and HR to ensure a cohesive approach to ESG objectives and to foster a company-wide culture of sustainability and corporate responsibility
- Innovation & Best Practices: Continuously evaluate emerging ESG trends, innovations, and best practices, providing recommendations to senior leadership on how to position the company as a leader in corporate sustainability

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business, or related field; master’s degree or MBA with an emphasis on sustainability is a plus
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate social responsibility, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role, ideally within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing sectors
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful ESG strategies, programs, and initiatives
- Strong understanding of global ESG regulations, reporting frameworks, and industry standards
- Expertise in environmental impact reduction, regulatory compliance, and risk management in a manufacturing or healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior executives, external stakeholders, and the public
- Experience in ESG reporting tools and data analysis, including familiarity with reporting frameworks like GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP
