  • We offer $23 per hour
  • We can guarantee 40 hours/week
  • Uniform provided free of charge
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday (0900-1630)

What does a Bank Security Guard do?Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as required, ensuring a positive experience while maintaining professionalism.Conduct regular patrols of the bank premises, including interior and exterior areas, to deter suspicious activities and ensure the safety of employees and customers.Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, following established protocols.Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed and accurate reports for record-keeping and review.Handle conflicts or confrontations calmly and effectively, prioritizing de-escalation and safety.Adhere to the bank’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all security regulations to maintain a secure environmentSkills, experience and qualifications:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
  • Valid BC Advance Security Guard licence ( AST)
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Ability to stand and walk the floor for a 6 – 8-hour period
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
  • Removal of unauthorized individuals
  • Use verbal commands and non-violent methods to de-escalate situations
  • Proficient in documentation entry- such as incident reports, activity logs
  • Criminal justice diploma (asset)
