Dealing with trades, scheduling, and budgeting construction projects? This is a Project Manager position for an individual with construction experience and provides a great opportunity, with a preference for Mandarin or Cantonese.About Our Client:
Established in 2012, they began with the construction of custom-built single-family homes. Over the years, they have evolved into a prominent construction and development company specializing in multi-family properties of various scales. Their current projects span Richmond, Vancouver, Burnaby, and Surrey, including duplexes, multiplexes, townhouses, condos, and a commercial building in Richmond.About the Opportunity:
In this role, you will lead projects from the ground up, defining requirements, schedules, scopes, and budget estimates while implementing effective risk mitigation strategies. You’ll have the chance to coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects stay on track and deliver exceptional results. You will also establish meaningful relationships with client stakeholders, serving as their primary point of contact and keeping them informed on project status and any changes. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and enhance our internal processes, making a real impact on our efficiency and effectiveness.About the Position:
The ideal candidate will possess production experience and excel in developing and overseeing work plans. Additionally, the project manager will be responsible for regularly preparing and presenting updates to relevant management channels.Benefits & Perks:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project specifications.
- Create and oversee schedules, ensuring projects remain on track and deadlines are met.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and progress.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
- Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to meet project demands.
- Ensure all projects meet company quality standards and comply with building codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Handle project-related issues promptly and effectively to minimize impact.
- Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager – dealing with trades, scheduling and budgeting
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Mandarin or Cantonese preferred
