In all that we do we seek to ensure our clients are maximising the value of their assets within their constraints.Our growth plan is ambitious, and we are looking for a Graduate Asset Management consultant to join to deliver projects as part of the team, as well as build lasting relationships with our clients and to support business development activities.The individual would be based out of our London office and will require the right combination of technical / engineering and people skills that shows ambition in an understanding of what is collaboration and leadership. And in return we will provide an environment that will enable you to thrive, giving you the self-determination we are proud of nurturing within Arup, and the support to play a key part in the growth of the team and our service offering.In role we will teach you how to build, maintain and manage strong, long-term relationships within Arup and with our clients and stakeholders. You will work across the Institute of Asset Management landscape building an understanding of what this means across the asset lifecycle including, but not limited to:

  • Strategy and policy
  • Investment planning
  • Capability development
  • Transformation
  • Digital
  • Maintenance optimisation
  • Whole-life costing
  • Risk and resilience

Is this role right for you?We are looking for candidates who have the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:

  • Undergraduate or masters degree in a relevant technical discipline (Engineering, Science, Maths, Economics, Asset Management, etc.)
  • Technical excellence is important to us and therefore ideally you will have identified a route to a technical chartership – e.g. institute of Civil Engineering, Registered Asset Manager, etc.
  • Desire to share knowledge
  • Demonstrate understanding of an infrastructure asset management organisation
  • Understanding of how your undergraduate degree/masters could be used/applied to asset management areas
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Project management ability
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
