Key growth areas include our Defined Benefits pensions, Retail and HUB distribution teams.We are seeking a candidate who has demonstrable experience in complex business transformation projects. This is not a category-led role; you will be working on projects that require outsourcing and third party delivery across a range of supply commodities including external consulting, finance systems, marketing, IT and HR.You will be delivering business partnering and commercial support to the business for complex sourcing requirements, which requires delivery of end to end procurement process, normally involving the running of sourcing events. You will be capable of developing a deep understanding of business needs and building clear credible relationships with senior stakeholders.Your credibility comes from your background in complex multi-year projects, working closely with business and project leads, change, legal and IT functions. You are also current with supply markets for finance systems, cloud software and platform and consultancy support services, ideally in the financial services sector, and able to bring your supplier market knowledge to the table when identifying supply needs with your stakeholders. You are also a proven negotiator, assured in negotiating supply arrangements in conditions where the outsourcers and third parties may hold a dominant market position.Due to the high value nature of projects you will normally take an RFP approach to market. You will therefore have a structured mindset and approach to delivery of formal sourcing events, taking full ownership of commercial and contractual negotiations, taking stakeholders and third parties on a coherent sourcing project pathway, from initial need through to contracting and handoff to the business. Your critical thinking, problem solving and keeping to deadlines will be key to the role. You will have a strategic mindset but also be data-driven and analytical, adept at translating data and complex information into action.In addition to your business partnering, you will work alongside the Category and SRM Managers in the Procurement team, ensuring that your project deliveries complement their activities. Just Group is a financial services regulated firm, therefore your ability to follow third party risk management process during sourcing events will be key.More broadly, you have delivered leading class procurement and can bring new ideas and thinking to the team.ResponsibilitiesEstablish strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs, cost saving opportunities, deliver effective demand management and address third party risk management (TPRM) matters.Lead and manage end to end strategic and tactical sourcing projects across multiple categories, selecting appropriate sourcing event, following formal sourcing processes and handing off to the business and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).Proactive identification of new sourcing initiatives through deep relationships with business leads and the change team.Negotiating commercial and contractual terms with third parties.Enabling budget holders to optimise their budgets and deliver business requirements at best value with minimised risk.Identifying and delivering cost saving and cost avoidance opportunities to meet budget holder targets, producing MI as required.Collaborating with Procurement category managers to ensure that transformation projects are complementary to their activities in the IT, Professional Services and Corporate Services categories, reflecting corporate objectives.Embedding the procurement governance framework within Just, aligned to the Group Procurement & Outsourcing Policy (GPOP) and Group Procurement & Outsourcing Manual (GPOM).Supporting the development of Procurement’s supplier contract management and governance system, also including TPRM.Advocate and communicate benefits to the business of timely engagement with Procurement.Skills & ExperienceSignificant Procurement experienceStrategic sourcing experience across multiple categories, with focus on enterprise scale third party providers and outsourcersDemonstrable knowledge and understanding of developing and deploying sourcing strategies, financial concepts and the ability to contribute to business casesFinancial Services background helpful, as well as knowledge of regulatory guidelines for third party management (PRA, FCA)Previous experience of S2P or P2P systems is helpfulExperience of complex transformation projects, involving outsourcing and offshoringExcellent stakeholder managementDemonstrable skills in commercial and contract negotiationsDeep knowledge of commercial contract drafting and commercial lawExperienced in running complex sourcing eventsProven planning/project management skills – able to develop end to end sourcing plans in complex situationsAbility to manage and take ownership of multiple complex projects simultaneouslyEffective problem-solving and analytical abilities, being able to construct and deliver complex analyses and play back to stakeholders at senior leader levelDeep understanding of current supplier market base in the transformation space (IT, platforms, consultancy)Analytical and highly numerate – ideally intermediate level or higher in MS Excel, PowerPointConfident in report writing and presentation -able to ‘tell the story’ and simplify complexityCompany BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved onesAbout UsWe’re a FTSE 250 Financial Services company who specialise in retirement solutions and right now, our world is moving pretty quickly.How people work, save, and plan for the future is all changing.
