Job description
We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a 4-6 month temporary role with our client located in South Orange County.This position will be working onsite.Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:
- Responsible for preparing the monthly journal entries and all the supporting documentation for the monthly close process
- Handle the general ledger reconciliations
- Will support the annual audit process
- Perform analysis of financial reports as required
Key Requirements for the Staff Accountant:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- 3+ years of solid GL accounting experience
- Must have strong Excel skills, including solid vlookup/pivot table experience)
- Strong understanding the the full cycle GL process and financial reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
