  • Develop, implement, and maintain TSCM programs and capabilities.
  • Conduct physical and technical assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation.
  • Perform Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) inspections and TEMPEST surveys.
  • Conduct acoustic testing to determine ICD 705 waiver requirements.
  • Research and develop policy and instruction at the agency and ICD level.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical and technical assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Perform Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) inspections.
  • Conduct TEMPEST surveys and recommend mitigations.
  • Conduct acoustic testing to determine ICD 705 waiver requirements.
  • Research and develop policy and instruction at the agency and ICD level.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • TSCM Certified with experience in TEMPEST assessments.
  • Expert-level knowledge of radio frequencies, direction-finding procedures, wireless communications, and general TSCM procedures and processes.
  • General knowledge of counterintelligence investigations, insider threat operations, physical security and anti-terrorism requirements, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and IT infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 – 12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 6 – 10 years of relevant experience, with the final level determined based on the skills, education, and experience of the selected candidate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in conducting radio frequency direction finding missions to identify unauthorized transmitting devices.
  • Experience providing technical security subject matter expert input to designated IC working groups.
  • Experience developing and disseminating workforce education for counterintelligence and security.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working within or alongside the Intelligence Community (IC).

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
