To deliver RBG Kew’s mission by providing high quality front of house reception, security and administration, support to the Wellcome Trust Millennium Seed Bank (MSB) Building located at Kew’s wild botanic garden, Wakehurst. This is unique opportunity to be the initial point of contact for all visitors to the MSB, providing a professional and welcoming environment while supporting the security of the staff and collections. This role is based in the Science Directorate and is a fully on-site role based in the MSB reception at Kew’s Wakehurst site and will report to the Technical Manager as well as working closely with the out of hours security team and the Wakehurst Visitor Operations team.The MSB reception is the operational control centre (hub) of the Wakehurst site and is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year, with this role responsible for cover during standard working hours and handing over responsibilities to the out of hours team. This role will support activity and operations at Wakehurst across Science, Visitor Experience and Estates Directorates.
