Beacon Health Group based in Danbury, are currently recruiting for a temporary healthcare assistant (HCA) for a maternity contract for up to one year. This position is offered on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours per week.Working in a vital patient-facing role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. The role will offer you the opportunity to build on your experience, skills and competence, requiring you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.If you are a qualified and experienced healthcare assistant looking for a fresh and exciting challenge, we would love to hear from you.Main duties of the jobThe position will be supporting phlebotomy clinics in the mornings and additional duties will include;

• ECGs.
• Administering of flu and B12 vaccinations.
• Changing dressings.
• Simple wound care.

We have two smaller branch sites which are Mountbatten House Surgery (based in North Springfield) and Moulsham Lodge Surgery (based in central Chelmsford).The Beacon Health Group is now able to offer our patients a wider variety of services ranging from chronic disease clinics to minor surgery services (performed within the new purpose built Minor Surgery Suite based at Danbury).
