We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Aurora, Ontario. In this role, you will be tasked with handling customer transactions and maintaining thorough and accurate financial records. You will also be required to analyze and summarize account information to prepare financial reports.Responsibilities:

• Handle customer transactions, verifying and allocating them appropriately

• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

• Maintain high-quality historical records by properly filing documents

• Balance accounts by reconciling entries and reviewing the General Ledger

• Record deposits and ensure payments are received in a timely manner

• Utilize software like Microsoft Excel and Sage300 for bookkeeping and data entry tasks

• Handle tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations

• Conduct month end close activities and manage payroll responsibilities

• Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of customer credit records.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and bookkeeping

• Ability to handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Experience with bank reconciliations

• Accurate and efficient data entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with month end close processes

• Ability to process and manage payroll

• Proficiency in Sage300 software
