The three Partner Trusts have set an objective of creating a singleprocurement function which will help support the sustainable provisionof clinical and non-clinical services.A newly formed Humber & North Yorkshire Procurement Collaborative, hosted by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, will provide procurement and supply chain services to its Partner Trusts, and may extend over time to service other bodies within the Integrated Care System.Working as a Supply Chain Assistant based at Goole and District Hospital you will contribute to the cleanliness, security and safety of equipment and stock throughout the Trust.Main duties of the jobYou will work within clearly defined proceduresusing your own initiative on routine matters and refer to the Supply ChainOperative when necessary.Responsible for taking delivery of product delivered to site, receipting allgoods delivered onto the e-Procurement system, stocking clinical andnon-clinical areas with products delivered, maintaining stock rotation tominimise wastage and scanning to reorder stock against agreed stocklevels.You will work to ensure an efficient and effective customer focusedservice is provided for all staff across the site ensuring they can deliverexcellent patient carePlease note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.About usThe Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community Partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.Made up of two Trusts – Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) – our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world-class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff.
