Their mission is to help people live better lives through innovative eye treatments, and They’re proud to be rated as a ‘great place to work.’ Optometrist Role As part of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll work alongside consultants, providing exceptional care to patients before and after surgery. Key responsibilities include:Performing pre- and post-operative assessments for cataract surgery.Running acute and follow-up clinics for post-surgery patients, documenting findings in our electronic medical record system.Offering health advice and guidance to patients visiting the hospital.Providing first-line clinical advice and referring to medical practitioners when needed.Ensuring safe handling and use of clinical equipment within the competency framework.Staying up to date with CQC policies and attending mandatory update courses. Optometrist Requirements To excel in this role, you’ll need:Current GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist.Extensive experience in a refractive, high street, or hospital optometry setting.Familiarity with patient administration systems and electronic medical records.Proven ability to meet conversion targets and KPIs within Vision Correction.
