About the roleThe purpose of this role is to provide expert governance support and advice to the University’s senior committees and decision-making bodies, including the Council, its committees, and University subsidiaries, while actively promoting and upholding Imperial’s commitment to exemplary governance standards. Based within the Division of the University Secretary, the University Governance team ensures the University adheres to the highest standards of governance, complies with legal and charitable obligations, and aligns with sector best practices.What you would be doingYou will lead governance support for the Council Property Committee, liaising with the executive lead and independent members as required, ensuring business aligns with the University’s governance framework and best practice. You will work proactively to offer clear and actionable recommendations to inform decision-making, and support senior staff to ensure that committees are provided with timely, accurate, and high-quality information to discharge their duties effectively.What we are looking forYou will have a proactive attitude, outstanding administrative capabilities, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
