Our guiding principles of safety, servant leadership, customer service, and personal and professional growth will foster and empower you with hands-on field experience to learn the fundamentals of our team.Three days in the office and two days remoteHours are 8am to 5pmThis is internship is PAID at $24/hr.10 week summer internship starting June 2nd and concluding August 8thDuring this internship, the candidate will be exposed to world class procurement of energy as well as risk management of the energy markets. In addition, the candidate will be exposed to the workings of Energy user groups and lobbying entities as well as the reporting of Carbon to international NGO’s. Assist Director of Energy in establishing a system to ensure Energy Contracts, Usage, Carbon Reporting and Utility interactions are tracked and acted upon. In addition, the candidate will research the various incentives offered by ISO’s, local Utilities and State Governments that may apply to the company for Scope 2 Carbon reduction and energy efficiency.Recruiter: Quentin Chavis Jr / / 346-459-4397Are you a MATCH?Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentBS in business analytics or related discipline (In process of attaining degree)At least six months experience with Google SuitePreferred QualificationsPrevious internship experience a plusWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
