Our client roster includes a group of well-loved brands across multiple industries including: Kobo, Sodastream, Carlsberg, Enbridge Sustain, Jack Astor’s, Bioré (Kao Canada), TG Appliances and Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation.From brand strategy, design & naming, advertising, communications strategy, to content production (small and large scale) and digital solutions, The Garden brings an experienced, high calibre team of talent to the table with a bias towards collaboration, creative problem solving, agility….and fun!To hear more about what makes The Garden special, have a listen to this podcast episode featuring our Founders, Shari Walczak & Shane Ogilvie:About the Role:As a Project Lead you will play an integral role with a variety of clients at The Garden, working closely with both the strategic and creative teams to explore and uncover creative solutions to business challenges, manage the day-to-day workflow and guide all projects towards executional excellence no matter what shape the output may take.While reporting to a Business Lead, you will be responsible for making sure projects stay on plan and adjusting that plan accordingly when the situation calls for it. With on-going day-to-day contact with key clients, you will need to manage projects in a variety of fast-paced settings, all while staying well-versed in tracking timelines and resources to ensure flawless execution.Everyone at The Garden rolls up their sleeves and loves to get their hands dirty, so you will also be actively involved in the strategic and creative process, providing support on both fronts from the project outset to final deliverables.Primary Responsibilities:
- Creative problem solving & sourcing of partners to transform ideas into actionable plans;
- Manage all phases of production including collaborating with a producer for video/photography shoots, managing the creative deliverables with the Creative Team & Studio Director, working with the media agency to deliver all assets against the trafficking sheet for broadcast, print and digital campaigns;
- Create project plans & manage scope, schedule & financials with support from the Business Lead;
- Provide day-to-day updates to the Business Lead on the status of all managed projects;
- Update internal status reports for weekly all agency review;
- Maintain day-to-day contact with clients to build strong partnerships;
- Manage creative teams and relationships with external vendors as needed;
- Maintain quality assurance for all projects;
- Fully understand all aspects of the clients’ businesses and their competitive environments;
- Take an active role in building a positive work environment and culture.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years previous experience working in a client services or project management role – we’re looking for talent with strong communication skills and the desire to learn. Open to candidates who may fall under the required years of experience but have the right attitude to grow with us;
- Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail;
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills;
- A natural problem solver, proactive in identifying issues and opportunities and recommending actionable solutions;
- Creative thinker able to look beyond the traditional and expected solutions to find unique opportunities to deliver the executional requirements;
- Collaborative and motivating, helping to inspire the team to produce great work;
- Level-headed; calm and composed under pressure, focusing on achieving the end goal;
- Ability to multitask and keep several balls in the air without breaking a sweat;
- A genuine interest in current trends, brands and design and the marketing world in general.
