Overview :PepsiCo Beverages Canada – Full-Time MillwrightThe Role:The Maintenance Millwright will be responsible for repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance. - This is a full-time position that requires open availability including weekends.

Responsibilities:
- The Maintenance Millwright will be responsible for repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance.
- Responsibilities will include welding, machining, ammonia refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, plastics manufacturing, material handling, PLC, etc.

Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Millwright certificate
- 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate is an asset
- Minimum of one-year previous electrical experience in a food plant environment
- Strong mechanical background
- Must be able to read and write English as there is possibility of severe injury to self or others due to nature of work
- Cost exposure to the company is greater than $1,000
- Familiar with the safe operation of hand tools
- Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility
- Must be able to work with minimal amount of supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Frequently lifting/carrying a maximum of 80 lbs
- Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 100 lbs (with the aid of a mechanical device)
- Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder
