Job Summary Develops and supports process, practices and standards to support the organization’s application programming process for our ATM, POS and Card Applications (issuing and acquiring) from a QE perspective. This is a manager role with HR responsibility that typically manages and oversees QE Leads and Analysts and other professional jobs and is responsible for setting the overall direction for the ATM, POS and Card Application QE Team members. Leads on review and audit of software development and activities to verify quality as well as compliance with app dev procedures and standards and provide relevant managers with results.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?RBC Caribbean Technology is looking for a strong and experienced Senior Manager QE to lead our ATM, Point of Sale (POS) and Card Applications QE teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to our Caribbean Customers.You will be responsible for leading this team and provide oversight, create an automation strategy and vision for the QE team to ensure that the testing, testing automation and automation tools framework is effective and innovative. You will also manage and optimize the resources, processes and the budget of the QE team to ensure that the team can effectively manage the growing complexity and volume of their QE activities and tasks.What will you do?Lead the ATM, POS and Card Applications QE team in developing and implementing a comprehensive QE StrategyCommunicate and Manage QE Metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve the effectiveness of the QE team and activitiesChampion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the ATM, POS and Card Applications LabsIdentify and optimize the budget, resources and processes of the QE teamExecute quality strategies, standards, and procedures to ensure delivery of high-quality products and services from the ATM, POS and Card Applications Labs.Leverage automation to increase the speed to market of the products and services developed by the ATM, POS and Card Applications LabsWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveBachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with the ISTQBE CertificationMinimum 5 years of experience in managing and leading quality engineering teamsMinimum 10 years of experience in QA, QE or software development, and in designing test cases with focus on optimized test case design techniques with automated testingHands-on experience in developing and leading test case design to provide efficient optimal coverage though unit test, component/service based tests and complex “real life” test scenarios for database, data ingestion and source-to- target validationExpert knowledge of industry practices with focus on Agile, DevOps, environments and test integration, with an understanding of automation framework(s) & automation strategiesExcellent Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and stakeholdersExperience with ATM and POS Applications, Functionalities and FrameworksExperience in designing, coding and generating ISO messages and integrating these ISO messages through APIExperience in a variety of test automation tools (Robot Framework, Appium, Cucumber, Selenium, AppliTools, ReadyAPI, TestNG) and script development using scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Gherkin, Bash, etc.)Nice-to-haveHands-on programming experience (e.g., Java, C, SQL DB querying)Hands-on experience with DevOps Tools (GitHub Actions, GitHub Pages, Jenkins)What’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
