Accountant – Part-Time (25 Hours Per Week, Flexible Hours)Location: WilmslowSalary: £25,000We are currently representing a dynamic and growing small business group based in the Wilmslow area, seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week with flexible hours. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to make a meaningful impact within a small, multi-sector business environment, operating across Financial Services, Utilities, and Property. As the company continues to grow, they are looking for someone passionate about financial management to support their expansion.Key Responsibilities:– Prepare and analyse monthly accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.– Provide financial insights to support business decision-making and performance evaluation.– Manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.– Oversee and improve financial processes and controls.– Liaise with external accountants for year-end financial statements and tax compliance.– Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.– Assist in the development of financial strategies and business plans.– Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.Qualifications & Experience:– Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).– Proven experience as a Financial Accountant, ideally within a small business environment.– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.– Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) and Excel.
