Our setting is designed to foster growth, learning, and development in a nurturing environment.Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our specialist team through the Career Teachers Agency on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will work full-time during term time, providing essential support to students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Provide training and support to staff on speech and language strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Requirements
- Registered to practice as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
