Property AccountantOur client is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team. This role oversees the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties. The ideal candidate thrives in a small team environment, excels in time management, demonstrates strong critical thinking skills, and adapts quickly to shifting priorities.Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Record all company and inter-company full-cycle transactions
- Produce monthly financial statements and related reports
- Perform annual CAM Reconciliations
- Reconcile bank statements, prepare transfers and wires
- Prepare weekly bank balance reports
- Monthly GST filing
- Ad hoc duties as required
Your strengths include:
- 2+ years of accounting experience within the Property Management industry
- Proficiency with YARDI Voyager and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in a team-oriented office environment with small staff complement
- Ability to multi-task, swap between different properties, analyze and manage time effectively
