Requisition ID: 216447Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.As the Senior Manager, Scene Products & Portfolio, you will lead and oversee the overall success of the Credit Cards and Unsecured Lending Canadian Banking business in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. You will also ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.Is this role right for you? In this role you, will:Lead the Scene product portfolio within the Scotiabank Credit Cards teamLead the design, execution and optimization of product strategies to achieve target profitability objectivesManage product portfolio activities including overall P&L responsibility, managing product features and working with marketing and acquisition to determine acquisition and retention offers, budgets and campaignsEmploy financial, market, and industry analyses in drawing conclusions and developing portfolio/product/program recommendationsContribute to the development and delivery of new programs from concept to execution including the preparation of supporting business cases, documents, presentations and project plansDevelop and execute communication strategy with continual adjustments and improvements as neededManage and support project plans for implementing initiatives, identifying milestones, timelines and recommended resources required to complete initiativesDrive post-analysis reporting and measurement of initiative results with Finance and AnalyticsAnalyze and develop recommendations for improvements and enhanced efficiencies for future portfolio campaigns/programs/initiativesChampion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environmentDo you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:Post-secondary education; MBA or other Graduate degree is a plus.Strong understanding of the credit card business and P&L leversSeveral years of management experience, including Product Management, Marketing or Finance role(s)Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in delivering compelling business cases and presentationsStrong strategic thinking and analytical skills, and are results orientedStrong ability to lead a team to achieve overall objectivesDemonstrated success in leading teams and working cross-functionallyLocation(s): Canada : Ontario : TorontoScotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
