Quality and Patient Experience Facilitator 37.5 hours – Permanent roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Nursing and Integrated Governance Unit for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Quality and Patient Experience Facilitator. We are looking for a someone who is passionate about patient experience to support the team in the delivery of high quality care. You will require good organisational skills and will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enable you to work with varying groups including managers, clinicians and administrative colleagues as well as patients, carers and key stakeholders across the health and social care community. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have excellent time management skills as you will need to balance the demands of a very busy workload.If you believe you have the skills, enthusiasm and ambition to join our team, we would love to hear from you.Main duties of the jobAt Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (ICFT), we are passionate about delivering services and care of a high standard and quality. Our patients, service users, carers and our communities, are at the centre of everything we do and by working together, we can bring about real and lasting improvements.The post holder will work within the Quality and Patient Experience team which incorporates Patient Experience, Quality and Assurance, and Safer Care, preventing harms occurring whilst patients are in our care. The post holder will support the continuous focus on the improvement of patient safety and experience. By listening and acting on peoples’ views and experiences we can improve our services for everyone who uses them. We are continually looking for ways to make our services the best they can be, for both the people who use them and the staff that deliver them.This role encompasses patient and service user experience, carers’ and patient stories, and friends and family test across community and acute services. The post holder will also work with key stakeholders to support specific patient groups and empower nursing staff in clinical practice. This will be facilitated by the development of competencies, education and clinical support. This involves actively supporting the delivery of an effective, high quality patient experience programme across the Trust, with a strong emphasis on continuous learning to ensure the delivery of harm free care.About usTameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust serves a community of 250,000 people across Tameside & Glossop.
