Job description
Stephen James BMW is looking for a Parts Supervisor/Manager.Your roleAs the Parts Supervisor you will be overseeing the Parts Department, ensuring efficient inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, managing a small team, and maintaining accurate records.You will assist your department in achieving the budget and BMW parts purchase target every month as well as adhering to all BMW / MINI UK contractual standards.The main duties of the role include.
- Assist in leading the daily operations of the Parts Trade Retail Teams, providing excellent customer service and support to both internal and external customers.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on department performance.
- Ensure effective stock control and warehouse management.
- Maintain and manage quarterly stock checks and provisions.
- Manage budget forecast accurately and control expenses.
- Manage supplier relationships and service levels.
Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm or 7.30am-5.30pm, and Saturdays, 8am-2pm, on a rota basis (currently, 1 in 3) to be paid as additional hours.Your profile
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to develop rapport and trust with customers and to resolve conflict situations calmly and reasonably.
- Proven experience as a senior parts advisor or in a similar role.
