We are looking for a dedicated Research Data Officer to join our team and play a critical role in the development, implementation, and ongoing management of our research data systems. This position is essential in ensuring accurate and robust reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.As a Research Data Officer, you will be responsible for managing reporting projects, system upgrades, and data audits. You will maintain strong stakeholder relationships and provide comprehensive data analysis and reporting support to aid in decision-making processes. Your role will involve liaising with key stakeholders to understand their business requirements for reporting, analysing research data, and delivering reports that meet the University’s needs. You will capture and integrate research performance data for analysis, strategic funding, and benchmarking purposes, and assist other team members in enhancing research reporting, analytics, and visualisations. In addition to data analysis and reporting, you will work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including IT Infrastructure, on research systems implementation and maintenance. Ensuring data integrity and quality assurance will be a key part of your role. You will also effectively manage projects such as Research Management System (RMS) upgrades and assist managers on projects like University Rankings, liaising with key stakeholders, conducting data analysis, and modelling.This is a full-time, ongoing position based at Kingwood Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University will be required.Please review the position description for further information.About YouYou are a highly skilled professional with an undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant professional experience and training, particularly within a university research or research-related division. Your expertise in research management systems, coupled with your ability to interpret and monitor compliance with policies, makes you a stand-out candidate. You excel in collecting, analysing, and reporting on research data, and have extensive knowledge of database management and information systems, including Oracle PL/SQL. Your advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines make you an invaluable team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $121,056 to $130,572 p.a.
