Job description
Overview:CCR is seeking for a Finance Controller for its Commercial Refrigeration operations in Benelux & UK / legal entity doing business in the Netherlands, Belgium and UK. The role is to be based in Nieuwegein, Netherlands. The position reports to the Western Europe Finance Business Partner, with a strong dotted line to CCR Controller.The role requires working closely with Accenture teams to ensure coordination of accurate and timely delivery of financial statements in accordance with CCR guidelines, as well as effective and efficient Order to Cash (OTC) and Procurement to Pay (PTP) functions. In addition, the role requires strong collaboration with the BU Controllers, delivering key objectives by establishing and contributing to the creation of a sound control environment, as well as the CCR Tax Director. Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly closing process, ensuring accurate and timely promotion of financial results towards CCR EMEA, providing required local inputs to Accenture teams
- Manage / oversee OTC, PTP and RTR (Record to Retention) activities outsourced with Accenture, establishing and maintaining strong communication and collaboration with them
- Confirm local procedures and controls are in alignment with CCR/Haier reporting requirements and policies, overseeing controls GAP assessment, identifying gaps within the organization and consequently working on an action plan to close them out, in collaboration with CCR Internal Controls Team
- Perform Balance Sheet reviews for the business and ensure quality control reconciliation according to CCR Guidelines.
- Ownership of local statutory financial statement and support external and internal auditors to ensure the completion of audits on time and with clean results
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of VAT, local tax returns & Corporate Income Tax, providing the necessary input to the outsourcing partners, and being main contact for CCR Tax Director
- Drive a culture of ‘best practice’ by leading / participating in various process improvement projects to simplify, streamline and automate.
- Support in Ad-Hoc projects and requests
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting, with at least 7 years of experience in an international environment
- Experience with accounting ERP Systems (SAP Hana would be a plus)
- Advanced knowledge of HFM and MS Windows
- Good knowledge of IFRS is a plus
- Good verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Proactive and self-initiating work style
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across organizational boundaries
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business environment
- Fluent in English and Dutch
