We are a hub of innovation, commitment, and excellence and are looking for you to embark on a rewarding journey with us.NWLP is based on a ‘hub and spoke’ structure; the majority of routine, specialist and non-urgent activity is centralised at our hub site at Charing Cross Hospital. Urgent tests required for immediate patient management and treatment are performed in 24/7 Essential Service Laboratories based on-site within the seven hospital sites in the group.Our values are to be patient-focused, collaborative, expert and caring.Why Choose Us? Most importantly you will thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment, where we prioritize training and career progression, with dedicated mentors to support your journey.Main duties of the jobThe post holder should have a keen interest in dissection, be timely and accurate in their work and well organised. The successful candidate must have HCPC Registration, MSc or FIBMS or equivalent, and demonstrable relevant experience post HCPC registration in cellular pathology.As such they would be expected to, as part of a team, undertake the day to day management of the dissection area and specimen reception sections within the laboratory and develop and improve their professional expertise and specialist skills.They would liaise with consultant staff and actively participate in the training programmes required for the advanced dissection role and frozen section dissection on the spoke sites.
