The role of the Program Management Officer (PMO) Coordinator is essential for the smooth operation of our Program Management Office. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Project Setup in the ERP: As a key participant of the Project Setup review board meeting, the PMO Coordinator will be responsible for setting up new projects in the ERP and in various reporting tools.
  • Financial Forecast: Assisting project managers with the monthly financial forecast, performing QA of the monthly forecast, then working with PM Directors to prepare for Monthly Financial Dashboard Meetings, ensuring high-quality information is presented.
  • PMO Support: Maintaining the PMO SharePoint site, assisting in developing templates, tools, and other aids, and developing and maintaining various reports and dashboards. Additionally, the PMO Coordinator will be responsible for creating project resources in the ERP.
  • Training: Creating PMO related training materials and providing training to various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Resource Management: Collaborating with resource managers to optimize resource allocation across projects and supporting the analysis of “what-if” scenarios to understand the potential impact on project portfolios.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitating communication between project stakeholders, including executives, business development, finance, resource managers, and project managers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve PMO processes and methodologies and implementing best practices to enhance project performance and organizational effectiveness.
  • Change Management: Leading PMO change initiatives related to best practices, processes, and tools, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Various other Duties and Responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences (or similar) or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
  • Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, etc.) is an asset but not required
  • Knowledge of the following:
  • Project management fundamentals
  • Financial budgeting
  • Data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience in project management or data analysis (or related) position

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
