The roleGrappenhall Heys is an outstanding and popular community primary school, situated in South Warrington. We have wonderful well-motivated pupils, an enthusiastic and committed staff and Governing Body, inspirational senior leaders, supportive parents and strong links with the community. Our Governors wish to appoint a committed, highly motivated, dedicated and caring person to join our team of Play Workers in our Link Club provision, supervising children from Nursery to Year 6.Hours / working pattern 11 hours per week (term time only).Hours will be Tuesday and Wednesday 3:00 pm – 5:30pm, Thursday and Friday 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm, with the possibility of further hours dependent on pupil numbers. Please be aware that this is a term time position, and holidays/days off will not be allowed during term time.What we are looking forDuties will include acting as an excellent role model for the children and promoting the school’s values. You will need to encourage the children to develop their personal and social skills through modelled play and promote excellent behaviour at all times. Interaction with the children and using your initiative to organise activities will be required. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will adhere to all school policies, especially those relating to behaviour, safeguarding, health and safety, equal opportunities and confidentiality.What we will offerWe are able to offer wonderful, well-behaved and engaged children.
