Our client is looking for a bright and dynamic Senior Accounting Technician to join an innovative well-established company located Downtown.Key Responsibilities:– Manage accounts payable and receivable (including analysis, matching, coding, processing payments and receipts, and following up on overdue accounts).
– Maintain accounting records and the accounting system.
– Perform journal entries, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations.
– Handle accruals, general ledger analysis, and report preparation.
– Prepare and process tax reports.
– Support the preparation of the annual audit file and respond to external auditors’ questions.
– Calculate and ensure proper payroll remittances.
– Prepare year-end tax statements (T4 and Relevé 1).Requirements:– A college diploma (DEC) in accounting or equivalent education and experience.
– At least 5 years of relevant experience.
– Good knowledge of finance information systems, such as SAP, Business Central, and Microsoft Office Suite.Work Environment:– Offering a hybrid work environment.
