We’re seeking a skilled and passionate People & Culture Officer to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our most valuable asset: our people.
About the Role:
As the People & Culture Officer, you will be the engine behind essential HR processes, ensuring smooth HRIS administration, meticulous staff record management, and seamless benefits administration. You’ll be our employees’ key point of contact, providing support and guidance on HR-related matters.
Your Responsibilities:
- HRIS & Records Management: Maintain accurate staff records within our HRIS, reflecting new hires, separations, and staff movements.
- Benefits Administration: Facilitate enrollment and changes to group life and health insurance, ensuring our staff and their dependents are well-protected.
- Compliance: Manage government-mandated registrations and updates for new hires and existing staff (SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth, BIR).
- Employee Support: Provide HRIS support to staff regarding performance management and other related concerns.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate staff confirmation/regularization, issue contracts, and coordinate staff clearance for separating employees.
- Emergency Response: Contribute to emergency response activities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to our humanitarian mission.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Relevant training in performance management systems, records management, and benefits administration.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in human resources.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and performance management systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Very good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to program areas as needed.
- Must be a Filipino national based in the Philippines.
