Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our United States Temporary Power team as a Warehouse Worker.SUMMARY:This position consists of airless spray painting, maintaining the shop and yard, building and repairing field equipment, loading trucks and maintaining a well-stocked warehouse.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepping metal for paint – remove any cement – scrap or sand, Tac-ons (load centers), cages with load centers, transformers
- Mask all areas that are not to be painted
- Maintain airless sprayer when work has completed, must complete cleaning process of the airless sprayer and make sure all paint is out of system before shutting down
- Maintain paint booth – at the end of each day & remove any clutter, trash – Put away all tools
- Build and repair electrical equipment including but not limited to wire meters, distribution panels, tac-ons, and distribution cages.
- Clean and maintain shop and yard on a daily basis.
- Paint & cut poles, and stack poles with forklift.
- Maintain inventory as needed.
- Adhere to OSHA safety rules and use of equipment – hard hats, etc.
- Adhere to Power Plus safety and quality standards when setting and/or picking up equipment.
COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanically inclined with ability to build and repair electrical equipment a plus.
- Ability to airless spray paint required.
- Able to use all power and hand tools safely.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Work off schedule provided by supervisor – Daily and weekly
