Job DescriptionAre you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a well-known steel processing company based in the heart of West Bromwich? If yes, we want to hear from you!Annual Salary: £42,000 to £46,000 includes shift allowance with plenty of overtime availableWeekly Shifts: Mon to Fri – 6am – 2pm / Mon to Thurs – 2pm – 12am / Mon to Thurs – 8pm – 6am rotatingCompany Benefits:

The role:
You will be tasked to carry out preventative maintenance tasks as well as be reactive with regard plant breakdowns and repairs.
All actions need to be carried out in a safe and professional manor, reporting to supervisors and filling out daily shift reports and other necessary paperwork.General Scope of work:
- Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- General Welding and Fabrication
- Read from engineering drawings
- Oxygen/acetylene burning
- Bench fitting
- Forklift/cherry picker/OHC operation
Experience/Qualifications Required:
- Completed Apprenticeship/time served would be preferred.
- NVQ level 3 or City and City and Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance
- Experience Slitting/De-coiling would be an advantage.
