Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.Your New Role…The International Content Distribution legal team provides legal support for the distribution throughout EMEA, LATAM and APAC of Warner Bros., HBO, Discovery and Turner feature films and TV series across physical formats, digital home entertainment, TV distribution (Free TV, Pay TV, Subscription Video on Demand and Free Video on Demand) and the sale of formats and unscripted programming.The Graduate Intern is required to provide broad support to the legal team’s activities, including the drafting, negotiation, and administration of a wide range of distribution and licensing documents. The Graduate Intern will be entrusted with hands on drafting and negotiation tasks and communicating directly with internal teams and external clients. The role is for a 12-month internship and would ideally suit someone who has completed their LPC or BPTC and wanting to gain experience for their future legal career.Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements including license and distribution agreements and supporting documentation, including term sheets, amendments (e.g. extensions), sale and purchase agreements, notice letters and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Creating and maintaining deal summaries and assisting with contract reviews to respond to day-to-day business queries.
  • General commercial legal work, legal research, and support on major projects.
  • Communicate with internal sales, finance and other legal teams and actively participating in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Collaborate and build a network with other interns across the business.
  • Handling multiple tasks with exposure to a wide range of business issues, within the support of an experienced legal team.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • You must be a recent university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2024.
  • Completed your LPC, SQE or BPTC (or are about to sit your final exams in Summer 2025).
  • Passionate about exploring a career in the legal field.
  • Organised, pro-active and a willingness to participate and learn.
  • Ability to work reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.

The Internship…

  • Salary: £28,000
  • Contract Length: 10-12 months
  • Start Date: Likely to be 8th September 2024
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.
