AccountantOur client is searching for an Accountant to join their team. This role will be responsible for all accounting activities for their assigned companies. • Post journal entries for accounts payables, accounts receivables, and other general transactions
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reconcile balance sheets and bank accounts; investigating and resolving discrepancies when required
• Examine documents and financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards
• Develop and maintain internal control procedures
• Complete reports and analysis to summarize status and trends for internal stakeholders
• Assist with year-end reviews, forecast and budget preparations
• Provide support to other accounting related activities as required

Your strengths include:

• 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience
• Construction industry experience is considered an asset
• Intermediate Excel user is preferred
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Ability to efficiently manage your time while balancing multiple priorities
