Job Title: Year 4 TeacherLocation: North Manchester, BL9Job Type: Full-time role availableSalary: £120-£160 per dayApplication Deadline: 25th April 2025Start Date: May 2025A primary school in the BL9 area is currently looking to recruit for a talented and committed Year 4 Teacher from May 2025, due to a scheduled absence. This role is ideally to start w/c 6th May 2025, dependent on availability, until the end of the summer term (22nd July 2025), with scope to extend this beyond the aforementioned date. This school works collaboratively with pupils and parents alike with the intention of building strong, trust-filled relationships. Many of their pupils possess unique talents that the school strive to nurture through the creation and maintenance of a positive learning environment.About this role:As a Year 4 Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering the curriculum and enhancing the learning experience of your pupils.Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing and delivering your own lessons each day.
- Marking and assessing the pupils’ work
- Giving your pupils the support and guidance they need to fulfil their academic potential and meet their goals.
- Managing behaviour in a classroom setting in line with the school’s behaviour policy and safeguarding measures.
- Creating and sustaining a positive learning environment based on support in which your pupils can thrive.
Requirements for this role:
- Applicants must have a QTS.
- An ambitious individual that is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure all children are happy and successful.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
