Our dedicated and compassionate faculty and staff are driven by a common mission: Contribute to innovative approaches in predicting, preventing, and curing diseases, shaping the future of medicine through cutting-edge research.The Ngo laboratory at the Department of Systems Biology, City of Hope is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to lead a federally funded project in lymphoma and immunotherapy. Our laboratory studies molecular mechanisms and identifies therapeutic targets in hematologic malignancies. Candidates having interests in cancer biology and immunology with hands-on experience in working with hematopoietic cells and handling animals are encouraged to apply. - Plan, design, and execute experiments independently and in collaboration with lab members.
- Generate data, present, and discuss results with lab members and at department meetings.
- Communicate results through posters and/or oral presentations at national meetings and manuscripts for publication.
- Develop new techniques/protocols and help other lab projects.
QualificationsYour qualifications should include:
- A Ph.D. degree in life or biomedical sciences, or a related discipline.
- Preferred qualifications: Experience in CRISPR, lentiviral transduction, culturing of human T cells and NK cells, flow cytometry, and mouse experiments is preferred.
