We have a strong social purpose and make it our mission to enable people to live well in their home and community.This role will help us to do this by supporting the delivery of an effective electrical management service across Irwell Valley Homes assets and the electircal function via the in-house repairs resource and external contractors. You will provide technical support, effcient operational support of electricians and ensuring that customer and colleague queries are resolved in a timely manner.In this role, you will be responsible for· To co-ordinate and manage a comprehensive electrical repair, safety and empty homes service based on a customer focused, value for money service· Supervision of electricians & subcontractors· Provide on-site and remote support to electricians and be the critical link between operative and manager· To support the Homes Team Manager (Gas & Electrical) in ensuring and effective, efficient and safe service is provided to customers· To manage the service to ensure that specified levels of service are maintainedWe need people who have:· Sound building and construction knowledge· General building maintenance repair knowledge· Completed electronic EICR’s & other associated certificates· Experience of testing and inspection of domestic dwellings· NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation works with City and Guilds 2377-22&32 (Pat Testing)· Current BS:7671 qualification· City and Guilds 2391 or 2394 and 2395· City and Guilds Parts I & II (or equivalent)· Primary trade qualification – NVQ / C&G Level II minimumThis role will require a basic DBS CheckEveryone’s welcome here.
