Job Title: Day Cleaner
Pay Rate: £14.63 per hour
Contract Type: Full Time
Type of Employment: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM or
Monday to Friday – 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM (1hour unpaid break)
Location: Bury, Unsworth, Manchester, BL9All applicants subject to Government Vetting check.
British citizen, Indefinite stay or EU Citizen.
Must have been residing in the UK for the past 5 years.
3 years passport validity.In your new role as a Cleaner, you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.Health and Safety responsibilities:
Always follow Group and company policies and procedures. Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment. Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received. Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You’ll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.This job description Is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken.
