An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic administrator to provide support to an innovative Mental Health Law Team. The post holder will be part of a job share, providing a comprehensive, efficient and effective administrative support service to ensure the rights of those detained under the Mental Health Act are upheld.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will:
- support the MHL Team in accordance with standard procedures to ensure adherence to lawful practice
- create electronic and paper files, sending out standard letters to patients, nearest relatives and relevant external agencies
- support the MHL Team in maintaining accurate records, including the electronic patient record
- support the MHL Team with monitoring the use of legislative frameworks and ensuring timely reviews of detention.
