About the Company – This National NGO in Dublin 12 is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance team.About the Role – Reporting to the Financial Controller:
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, ensuring alignment with the company’s policies and reporting timelines.
- Produce monthly management accounts with detailed analysis and schedules.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the primary finance contact.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and analytics capabilities.
- Prepare monthly rolling forecasts, including detailed variance analysis.
- Support the Financial Controller in the preparation of Financial Statements and external audits.
- Provide proactive line management support for finance staff in line with the company’s core values.
Qualifications –
- Qualified Member of a relevant accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Minimum 5 years’ finance experience post-professional qualification.
- Experience in large complex accounting functions and working to tight deadlines.
- Expertise in financial modelling and reporting using Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
