Our extensive global presence offers a diverse range of career opportunities across various industries, nations, and job domains, empowering our workforce to continuously enhance their skills and stay competitive.Create a better tomorrow with us!The Business Transformation Expert – Order Management for Customer Support will report to the Sr Director of Customer Support of Smart Infrastructure, Electrical Products U.S., responsible for order management strategy related to the business transformation initiative Sherpa X.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:You will be part of a company-wide transformation project to introduce a new ERP system (SAP S/4 HANA) and related business processes across our organization.For the Customer Support / Order Management arena, the successful candidate will:

  • Analyze existing business processes supporting complex make-to-order as well as make-to-stock order management procedures in existing SAP and Compass toolsets to chart transformation to new ERP of SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Serve as subject matter expert in customer transactions with Siemens’ order management tools.
  • Understand and influence the Sherpa X target state and develop a change management roadmap for Customer Support / order management
  • Assist with implementations of order management procedures to approach the Sherpa X target state, including Logistical Intracompany Business (ICB) order processes.
  • Advise and support Business Segments and Business Technology team on order management practices within Lead-to-Cash (L2C) processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project goals, and develop a comprehensive project plan.
  • Design optimized business methods, with a focus on standardization and harmonization.
  • Ensure continuity of data exchange to maintain current business analytics and support further analytics.
  • Ensure proper communication with Customer Support organization and assist in training and coaching Customer Support organization in transformational business processes.

Key Working Relationships:

  • The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to drive process effectiveness and efficiency in the L2C processes. The candidate will also work closely with IT and Business Technology leads in detailing order management solutions.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or information technology, or equivalent years of experience required for non-degreed individuals.
  • 8+ years in an order management environment, preferably with leadership experience and/or project management experience (scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, prioritizing, risk management).
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules (emphasis on Sales & Distribution (SD)).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills (data analytics, AI, visualization).
  • Proficiency in communication tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio, Teams, Jira).
  • Ten percent (10%) travel (may vary by location).
  • Fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional, global teamwork.
  • Adaptability to dynamic environments.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience using SAP, Industry Mall, COMPAS and other toolsets that support order fulfillment within Siemens.
  • Experience in engineer-to-order/make-to-order environments in the electrical apparatus/power distribution industry.
  • Diligent and transparent project reporting.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, risk identification, and mitigation.
