We are looking for an experienced and skilled Foreman to lead site operations and oversee construction crews. As a key point of contact, you will be responsible for guiding the team and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.Responsibilities
- Coordinate tasks in alignment with project priorities and plans.
- Allocate daily and general responsibilities to team members.
- Supervise and provide training to workers and tradespeople.
- Ensure adequate manpower and resource availability for project execution.
- Uphold safety precautions and maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Oversee the proper use of machinery and equipment on-site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise during projects.
- Report project progress to the Superintendent, Operations Team, and Project Management Team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a construction foreman.
- At least 3 years of comprehensive knowledge of concrete construction procedures and equipment; concrete restoration experience is an asset.
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively execute projects from start to finish.
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and blueprints.
- Good physical condition with the stamina required for construction tasks.
