Purpose: Deichmann are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistants to join the team in our brand new store, opening soon in Bedford.You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £11.64 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.At Deichmann, our Sales Assistants play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.In return for your hard work, you will be offered fantastic opportunities for you to be able to grow and develop within your retail career.We have various full time and part time contracts available.As this is a brand new store, your training will take place in our Luton Store, ahead of the Bedford store scheduled opening for April 2025.
Ideal candidate: If you have energy, drive and passion to work in a fast paced, customer facing, retail environment, this is the role for you!You will have a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service, the ability to work well within a team, the stamina to work on a fast-paced shop floor and the capacity to work calmly under pressure.
Key activities:

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till – processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPI’s.
• Continuous stock replenishment to ensure the shelves are always full.
• Processing of stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy, to a high standard.
• Any additional ad hoc duties, as and when required.

• Methodical approach to completing daily tasks.

• The flexibility to work any day across the week (Monday – Sunday).

Salary/Pay: up to £11.64 per hour + non contractual, hourly sales commission.
