The role will include reviewing clinical documentation, answering telephone queries and actioning messages and emails. The post holder will be responsible for assisting and maintaining the legal administrative requirements for the MCA. The role will also assist with the current day to day administrative co-ordination of the MCA service.The successful applicant will need excellent communication skills, be highly motivated with the ability to work on their own initiative and have a good knowledge and experience of PC based applications including setting up and managing databases. An ability to work under pressure, adhere to deadlines and prioritise a demanding workload is essential. Maintaining confidentiality and applying data protection principles is paramount.The post holder could be based at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital or North Devon District Hospital.Please note, the Job Description for this role is currently going through the matching process and therefore the banding may be subject to change.Working Pattern: 22.5 hours per week.
