Are you a team player, well organised with great communication skills and a calming manner? If so, we are looking for someone to join our team at a busy GP Surgery in Mansfield.We offer a supportive team environment, training and the entitlement to join the NHS pension.We are looking to recruit a frontline receptionist to work 20hours per week, Monday to Friday (between the hours of 07.50 and 6.30pm). You may be required to work extra hours if and when required, therefore flexibility to work extra hours is required.Main duties of the jobOur receptionists provide a reception service for all patients including booking appointments, taking telephone calls, dealing with queries, processing prescriptions, signposting patients to the correct service, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail plus a range of other tasks.You will provide a meet and greet service for all external visitors to the Surgery and act as a central point of contact for patients. You will also be responsible for the distribution of information, messages and queries to the Surgery staff as necessary.About usMillview Surgery is a busy GP surgery in Mansfield with 8500 registered patients. We have 6 GP’s, 4 nurses and team of 13 admin staff.The post is part time 20hours per week, working Monday to Friday, between 07.50am and 6.30pm.Previous experience in General Practice is desirable, but not essential.
