We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teacher for a good-rated, 2-form entry school located in Lambeth, starting ASAP. This is a full-time position. - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of KS2 students.
- Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
- Encourage students to take responsibility for their learning and develop their critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and deliver a high standard of education.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as required.
KS2 Teacher Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- A team-oriented approach and a passion for creating an inclusive learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and best practices in teaching.
