Start Date: ImmediateGSL Education is looking for a dedicated and flexible Secondary Supply Teacher to join our team, providing cover across various subjects in secondary schools throughout Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled teacher to work in a range of school environments, with the potential for a Temp to Perm role for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects, adapting to the needs of each class.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create plans when necessary.
- Provide support to students of varying abilities and help them meet their academic goals.
Requirements:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching in a secondary school.
- Be adaptable and able to manage time effectively in different classroom settings.
- A valid DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to apply for one.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
