About the RoleAn Outstanding school in Haringey is seeking a PE Teacher to join their thriving Sports department. This full-time, permanent role is available immediately, offering the opportunity to teach PE across KS3 to KS5, leading students in a variety of sports and physical fitness activities.About the SchoolThis school is known for its commitment to student health and well-being, elite sports coaching, and outstanding PE curriculum. The PE department provides students with opportunities in competitive sports, leadership training, and personal fitness development. - Teach PE across KS3, KS4, and KS5, focusing on physical fitness, teamwork, and skill development
- Coach students in competitive sports, preparing them for inter-school tournaments and regional championships
- Promote healthy lifestyles and physical well-being, ensuring student engagement in fitness programmes
- Work collaboratively to enhance the PE curriculum and extracurricular sports offerings
- Support school-wide health initiatives and leadership development through sports
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Sports Science, PE, or a related field
- PGCE or QTS
- Experience teaching PE up to KS5
