Reporting to the Credit Director, the Collections Specialist will manage B2B and commercial accounts, ensuring proper credit processes and risk management.Responsibilities:– Handling account openings, collections, credit management, and insurance for assigned accounts
– Identifying and reporting at-risk accounts in a timely manner
– Ensuring credit policies are applied and followed
– Acting as the key contact for clients regarding credit matters
– Proposing action plans for disputed cases
– Collaborating closely with internal teams to foster a transparent, team-oriented culture
– Sending invoices and account statements to clients
– Processing credit notesWhat You Bring:– DEP in accounting or a related field (manufacturing experience is a plus)
– 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of business credit and risk management
– Intermediate Excel skills
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities
– Attention to detail and problem-solving mindsetLanguage Requirement: English
– Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced
– Reasons for Language Requirement: for client communication, team collaboration, and Ontario operations
