This is more than just a job-it’s an opportunity to build a rewarding career in manufacturing quality, with room to grow and make a real impact!What You’ll Do:Primary Responsibilities:🔹 Be the Quality Expert – Act as the first point of contact for quality issues on the production floor, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with quality standards.
🔹 Conduct Inspections & Testing – Perform in-process and final product inspections using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
🔹 Maintain Accurate Documentation – Record inspection and test results on quality forms for traceability and compliance.
🔹 Interpret Technical Data – Read and understand blueprints, Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to verify product specifications.
🔹 Apply Math & Measurement Skills – Convert fractions to decimals, work with metric and standard units, and ensure precise measurements.
🔹 Ensure Compliance & Notify Teams – Identify nonconforming products and processes, and communicate issues to production teams to drive continuous improvement.Secondary Responsibilities:🔸 Gauge & Equipment Maintenance – Maintain production floor reference gauges and assist with calibrating testing equipment as needed.
🔸 Receiving Inspections – Perform quality checks on incoming materials to ensure they meet company standards.
🔸 SPC & Data Analysis – Use basic math skills to calculate and plot measured data on Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts.
🔸 Production Support – Create lot labels and pallet tags, update the Job Training Matrix for production employees, and pull/verify daily pick sheets for the production manager.
🔸 Administrative Support – Enter purchase orders and maintain accurate records to support production efficiency.About You:

  • Are you a high school graduate (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, or in a similar role within a production environment? An Associate’s degree or additional training in quality control is a plus, but not required.
  • Do you have hands-on experience with quality control processes, inspection techniques, and precision measurement tools? If you’re familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC), that’s even better!
  • Do you love solving problems? You have strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to identify quality issues and drive solutions.
  • Are you comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and entering data into quality management systems?
  • Can you read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and SOPs to ensure products meet exact specifications?
  • Are you able to lift, push, or carry up to 25 pounds as part of routine quality inspections?
  • Do you communicate clearly and professionally-both verbally and in writing-with production employees, supervisors, suppliers, and customers?
